Yvonne Morris
Originally from Southern California, Yvonne moved to Utah with her husband, Shawn, and daughter, Becca, in the spring of 2001. She joined the staff of Brickyard Animal Hospital in 2002, for what she was certain would be a short stay before moving on with Shawn’s career in the US Navy. She was wrong.
After working as veterinary assistant and Lead Technician, she became Practice Manager in 2009 and does her best to keep the doctors and staff running smoothly.
When not working, and weather permitting, she can usually be found on the back of one of her three horses, Mojo, Powder and Rhett. When it is too hot to ride and too nice to stay inside, she can often be found with Shawn and their grandson, Stetson, boating and fishing on one of our local lakes.
Knowing pets are what make a house a home, the Morris home includes three horses, two barn cats and a standard poodle named Venus. “All creatures great and small….we welcome them all!”
Practice Manager
Hannah
Hannah Driggs graduated from Broadview University in 2015 with a degree in Veterinary Technology, beginning her career with Brickyard Animal Hospital as an intern before being hired officially as a technician. In 2018 she was promoted to the title of Lead Tech. Hannah is honored at the opportunity to represent the clinic and its team. She works diligently with the doctors and other techs to ensure that the clinic is run with efficiency and compassion.
Whether at home or work, Hannah has always believed there’s no greater joy than giving excellent care to animals. Accompanying her to work everyday is Joanie Jett, a scruffy-faced “wild child” of a dog rescued from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Alongside Joanie, Hannah and her husband Jose Perdomo give their love and care to their cats Toby and Frisk, and their chinchillas Sophie and Pepper.
Lead Veterinary Technician
Jess
Jessica Mora has lived in Utah her entire life and has worked at Brickyard Animal Hospital since April of 2017. At work, she’s a strong and determined member of the team, and at home she’s always looking for new adventures with her fur baby Megan, who rarely leaves her Mom’s side. She has a special place in her heart for Bully breeds, and along with Megan gives her love to Babs and Dozer—it’s a trio of American Bullies!
Animals have always been a passion of Jess, and she never envisions a life where she isn’t involved in their care. The sometimes sad and difficult moments of the veterinary career have always made her appreciate the wonderful pets who make it worthwhile. She loves her job and considers it her mission to be a means for the sick or hurt animals in our lives to receive the care they deserve.
Veterinary Assistant
Alyssa
Alyssa McCollin graduated from Salt Lake Community College with a degree in Biology in 2017. She has been working as a receptionist at Brickyard Animal Hospital since June of 2018, and her talent and dedication has led her to transition to the title of veterinary technician. Working with animals has always been a personal goal of hers, and she’s excited to finally fulfill that dream.
At home, Alyssa cares for her three dogs, one cat, and one ferret. She keeps herself busy caring for animals both on and off the clock! Her hardworking personality had made her a great receptionist and it will continue to make her an even greater technician.
